Education: Ideals and Practice

The second Social Philosophy and Policy conference under the new editorial team was held August 8-11 in Park City, Utah.  This conference served as a venue to discuss the purpose, methods, and practices of education in a liberal society as well as the goals of public education and standards appropriate to evaluate its outcomes.  This conference was co-sponsored by Liberty Fund, a non-profit foundation based in Indianapolis, IN that conducts its own program of educational activities.
